Lenovo quad-core smartphone ... sounds very interesting, but it probably won't make a dent against Samsung or Apple. Surprisingly, it runs Android 4.0, so that would be interesting. "Lenovo has unveiled the LePhone K860 smartphone featuring Samsung Electronics' quad-core Exynos 4412 processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.0, 5-inch 1280 by 720 touch screen and 8-megapixel rear camera.
Lenovo sold 6.8 million smartphones for a global market share of 11.2% in the second quarter of 2012, with five million units sold in the China market, according to industry sources. Lenovo plans to offer 40 smartphone models with target shipments of 20 million units in 2012. Compal Communications, Wistron NeWeb and Foxconn International Holdings are major ODMs for Lenovo, the sources indicated." Source: Digitimes |
