It's what we've all been waiting for ... "Glass-Free" 3D TV. Come on, who would want to waer those stupid 3D glasses to enjoy 3D HDTV huh? "The system is called a Tensor Display, and it uses many layers of liquid-crystal displays (LCDs) to create a better 3D image. Three-dimensional movies may become a bit more lifelike with a new system developed by MIT researchers.
![]() Currently, 3D films offer images that are second rate to the real deal. When viewing real 3D object, a person's perspective of that object changes as they move around it. But those sitting in 3D movie theaters today find that everyone in the audience has the same perspective of the hologram. Also, glasses are required in order to see it."
