It's what we've all been waiting for ... "Glass-Free" 3D TV. Come on, who would want to  waer those stupid 3D glasses to enjoy 3D HDTV huh?

"The system is called a Tensor Display, and it uses many layers of liquid-crystal displays (LCDs) to create a better 3D image. Three-dimensional movies may become a bit more lifelike with a new system developed by MIT researchers.

Douglas Lanman, study leader and a postdoctoral researcher at the MIT Media Lab's Camera Culture group, along with a team of MIT scientists, have found a way to make 3D images on television screens more realistic -- without 3D glasses.
