We did say that FunkyKit saw a lot of drones at our coverage of HKEF 2016, and aside from the MiniWing A380 drone, the Tovsto Falcon Race Drone caught our eye.
Tovsto is based in Shenzhen, China and they develop and manufacture UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles).

The Tovsto Falcon Race Drone caught our eye with its simplistic design and FPV capabilities:
With a drone racing gaining more popularity internationally, the Tovsto Falcon Race Drone looks to break into this market, at an affordable price. With a top speed of 72kph, this thing can sure zip about! With its foam-constructed FPV Vivid Video Glass headset, the user will get a cockpit view of the drone flying around, but we did find the framerate to be rather choppy. We also found that even thought the headset was very lightweight, it is very bulky, especially when you consider over competitors’ version are no more larger than a pair of diving goggles, and doubts creep in with the durability of the foam material used.
Surprisingly, the camera on the Falcon Race Drone can record video clips up to 1080p HD standard via a Panasonic 6 layer optional lens on SD cards. The internal battery has charge capacity of 1300mAh, equating to 8 to 10 minutes of flight time.
