One of the most essential tools for iPhone users - EVER? Since giving my iPhone 4S to my wife, I decided to go cold turkey for a while and revert back to my regular old Nokia phone. I'm going to wait for a while before dipping into the market for a new Android smartphone :)
However, there's a problem ... I've been using my iPhone 4S for little over a year and a half, and all my contacts were on phone. But the thing is ... I've deleted all the information on the iPhone before giving it to my wife ... Ooopps!
Luckily, I've made a backup of my iPhone 4S on iTunes the night before. But how do I access my contacts? ...
In this a short article, we will show you how to extract your contacts (and other data) from iPhone or iTunes backup. Of course, this will work for ALL iPhones or any other iOS devices too.>

If you are an Internet cafe surfer you should know you are facing a great risk, in the form of an easy-to-use but very effective data sniffing tool: Firesheep. This Firefox plugin can grant anyone from the same network access to your password-protected session with any site, like Facebook, Twitter or even your email provider. This can be very dangerous taking into consideration the amount of information we now keep online: pictures, documents, emails and even financial information can fall into the wrong hands if you don`t learn how to protect yourself in these situations.

Firesheep
Even amateur hacker can use Firesheep to hijack your session. With a simple double click they can get access to your personal information, emails and more. The plugin works by reading the unencrypted cookies that these sites use to authenticate your session, and then uses them to impersonate you. A simple, yet effective approach, this style of hacking is referred to as "side-jacking" and can be very dangerous unless you take the appropriate measures.

Many of us will have several social media accounts ... like Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Stumbleupon etc. However, it's a real pain to manage these accounts separately. I, myself only really use two ... Twitter and Facebook. So, to save me a lot of time and hassle, I've decided to sync my Twitter account with my Facebook. Once these acoounts are sync'ed, all I need to do is to post once on my Twitter account and my post will be displayed automatically on my Facebook account.

In this article we will how you how it's done. No need to log into separate accounts ... just post once and be done with it!

I've been looking to share my screen from my Macbook Air on two monitors (duplicate/clone) ... and there was not many options available. The guys at the Apple stores says it can't be done ... while I went to all the hardware stores to look for a mini-DisplayPort splitter ... it doesn't exist. So what can I do?
There are two options ... spend over $200 USD for a Matrox DualHead2Go or similar, which apparently has some incompatibility issues with the Macbook Air or around the same price ... go for a bulky VGA splitter box, which again isn't really what I wanted.
It took me a while to figure this out ... but finally I have a workable solution! In this article we will show you how to setup dual display for your Macbook Air via HDMI (duplicate/clone screen only). It even works with the lid closed (thanks to the FREE NoSleep app).

It's a long story, but basically the hard drive on my friend's computer ran out of space the other day. So in the end, we decided to buy a larger internal hard drive to replace the old one. Simple. So what's next?
Well, after we installed the hard drive, we decided to use it as the main C: drive instead, and use the old one as a backup. That's all good until we realize we can't find my friend's restore DVD. Fear not ... as we still have his Windows Vista disc which came with the system (it's a genuine copy may I add). However, the problem is ... he upgraded his copy of Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate some time ago. And what's worse, is that he upgraded it online and does not have the Windows 7 disc or the product/serial key.

So what do we do? Well, you can contact/phone the friendly people at Microsoft and the explain your situation, and hopefully they will be able to help (chances are you'll be fobbed off).
Luckily for my friend, I was kind enough to lend him my Windows 7 disc ...
