Today we will be covering the Arctis 7 Wireless Headset from SteelSeries. Big shout out to SteelSeries for providing us with all the great headsets in the past. The one on hand today is from the new Arctis line. We covered the Arctis 5 a while back and now we have the wireless version to show off. As you can expect SteelSeries doesn’t fool around when it comes to audio. I love that SteelSeries has a passion about providing us with the most enjoyable experience possible. If you are like me then you want nothing but the best from a headset. When you come in contact with crappy audio, it can truly ruin the feedback of whatever it is. I want clear highs and deep lows. If I am going to have the sound that close to my eardrum I want near perfection. Lets see if this headset can pass my approval.
Arctis challenges everything you know about gaming headsets with completely overhauled audio, a new mic design with unmatched clarity, and improved comfort with materials inspired by athletic clothing. It’s the end of compromise. Every Arctis headset comes with our flagship audio drivers, a ClearCast mic and extraordinary comfort. The rest is up to you. Arctis 7 features lag-free wireless audio, 15-hour battery life, a premium steel headband, on-ear Game/Chat audio balance, and DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Surround Sound.
I would like to thank SteelSeries for providing this review sample! Let us see what they have to say about themselves on their website:

How is this headset ear cup? I have big ears and one of the major concerns is the ear cup size. I have been using a sennheiser pc350 which have big ear cups and can fit all over my ear. I recently acquired the hyper x cloud and i am not totally satisfied.
Headsets that feature “ear cups” are ones that cover the entire ear by definition. I don’t think there is minimum dimension to qualify the headset as “ear cup”. I can measure the headset ear cups if you would like to know if the Arctis headsets from SteelSeries would fit your ears.
