We recently attended a electronic trade fair in Hong Kong - HKDTC 2012, and we came aross a booth from JETWAY. Do you remember them? Of course you do ... Jetway Motherboards anyone?
Well, if you don't know who they are ... they're an OEM manufacturer of PC components, and have been making things like motherboards, graphic cards etc., as far as I can remember. If I'm not mistake ... dating as far back as 1990, some of you weren't even born ;) Click on the image to read and see more ...
Anyway, as you know these last few years we've seen an explosion of tablets ... and to keep up to pace with the consumers, Jet have released 2 tablets based on the Android 4.0 OS. One is a 7-incher while the other is a larger 9.7-inch. Both have a host of connections including a mini-USB, mini-HDMI, micro-SD slot, 3G SIM card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Also on display was a large all-in-one PC featuring a massive 36" monitor. It comes witth a built-in, super thin mini-ITX motherboard powered by an unnamed Intel processor (possibly an ATOM). This all-in-one PC could be a hit for schools and learning centers as the motherboard is upgradeable/swappable and therefore saves costs in the long run.
