Introduction Gigabyte's Z77X-UD5H is one of Gigabyte's mid range entries into the Z77 chipset feeding frenzy. It takes the excellent efficiency and overclocking of the UD3H and adds a few more features and ports. We'll give it a run for its money and see how it stands up.
First, the customary word about Gigabyte, from Gigabyte's About Us page.
Sounds pretty reasonable to me. Another interesting tidbit that they don't share is that they're one of the motherboard (and GPU/etc.) manufacturers that actually own/run their own fabrication plant. Many motherboard/GPU manufacturers don't actually manufacture their own cards and boards. Gigabyte does.
