Boy, I never thought I'd see this. A jamming device that is capable of actually interrupting someone during a conversation. While I'm sure that could come in handy to a lot of people, not everyone sees the good in this invention seeing as how it can literally impose upon a person's right to free speech. However, some are saying it does still have plenty of practical purposes and that, in the right hands, it could be quite a useful tool. Either way, the technology itself is quite intriguing; it doesn't actually silence a person like you'd think, it works somewhat like a laser-microphone. The user points the device at the person talking which records the speech and then plays it back after less than a second has passed, thus causing what's known as the Delayed Auditory Effect.
