We've been seeing a lot of these lately, and I'm sure it makes a lot of people scratch their heads wondering what these companies are thinking when they take other companies to court. The most obvious conclusion is money, but it's not always as simple as that. Here is a fascinating article that delves into the whole system of patents and the legal cases surrounding them:
