For all the anonymity the internet offers, there are so many secret cracks and crevices that we can slip into; unaware of the predators and thieves that lurk in the dark waiting to take hold of our personal information. And those are just the 'safe' places that we visit on a daily basis. With the amount of people who aren't so safety conscious, that can be a big problem primarly for those who use smartphones regularly. However, according to statistics, a great deal of smartphone users are growing more and more paranoid about just what gets transferred between them and the sites they visit and download apps from. Of course, this probably doesn't come as any big surprise if you use Facebook or just download apps from any of the number of market places. All apps are required to provide a legal disclaimer that informs the buyer of any and all information that can and most likely will be shared with third parties. So it only makes that you would exercise a greater degree of caution in regards to what you do with your digital self. The bottom line is, as always, make sure you're careful about sketchy websites and what kind of software you download.
