Gigabyte Z490 Motherboard Lineup Gets Leaked

Some more Z490 motherboard leaks … this time it’s Gigabyte, and there’s a load of them too!

Taken from Videocardz … Gigabyte confirmed to the press that their upcoming Z490 motherboards are compatible with PCI-Express Gen 4. Shortly after that leak, our sources have also confirmed that ASRock and MSI marketing materials (which are still under embargo) also list PCIe 4.0 readiness. This obviously means that PCIe 4.0 is supported by the motherboard, but the 10th Gen Core CPUs are simply not ready to provide the lanes. The full PCIe 4.0 support is expected to roll out with Rocket-Lake-S series, coming later this year. The topic has been covered in more detail by Tom’s Hardware and PC Gamer.

Only a few motherboards have been leaked by us and Benchlife, but PCHocasi have “fixed” this situation by releasing all Z490 motherboard pictures that the manufacturer is launching on April 30th.

The new additions are the Ultra Durable (UD) series, featuring Micro-ATX and WiFi-AC variants. PC Hocasi have also given us a first look at AORUS Ultra G2 Edition kept in black and red design. More pictures of the Vision G and Vision D have also been released. These are the new addition to Gigabyte lineup, the series is intended for content creators.
