NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 – Ashes of the Singularity Benchmarks Leaked

This is making me like the GeForce RTX 3080 more and more. I was split on whether to get the RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 … and now, I think the decision is made.

Taken from Videocardz … A leak from the Ashes of the Singularity database featuring GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards has been discovered by @_rogame. The graphics card is possibly currently being tested by a reviewer.

The GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card features 8704 CUDA cores and 10GB of GDDR6X 320bit memory. It is expected to be faster than the RTX 2080 Ti graphics card.

This DX12 benchmark is no longer popular among reviewers, so the data is rather hard to compare. What is even worse is that the benchmark does not log detailed clock speed configurations, so we are unsure if the graphics card was overclocked or not.

However, let’s assume that this RTX 3080 is a reference-clocked sample. We can also use medians from the AotS database, as it lists how many pages of benchmarks have been generated for specific preset and specific GPU. Of course, this is absolutely not a proper way to compare anything, but the closest we can get right now. The results would look like this:
