Today we’ll be taking a quick look at the Dell Latitude 7210 2-in-1 Business Detachable Laptop. This laptop, as the name suggests is a 2-in-1 laptop and comes with a detachable keyboard. It’s designed for business use and is very similar to Microsoft’s Surface Pro 7, both in looks and features.
The Latitude 7210 powered by an Intel 10th Gen Core™ i7 quad core processor, with 16GB of LPDDR3 ram, along with a 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. It features a 12.3-inch touchscreen IPS panel that comes with an Anti-Glare and Anti-Smudge DX glass, supporting FHD resolution of 1920×1080. For connectivity, it comes with Intel Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 AX201 2×2 802.11ax 160MHz + Bluetooth 5.1.
The laptop is extremely thin measuring just 0.37″ (9.35mm) in thickness, and super light-weight weighing in at only 1.87lbs… that’s 0.85kg. It’s perfect for the business user who travel a lot.
One of the most attractive feature of the laptop is the detachable keyboard, which features a magnetic strip long its connectors and easily locks in place for hassle-free operation. The review sample we received did not come with a stylus pen (Dell Premium Active Pen PN579X) … which will cost you an additional $89 if you need on.
As far as graphics is concerned, the Latitude 7210 still uses the Intel UHD onboard graphics which is an integral part of Intel’s 10th Gen processor. It works well for business use, but inadequate for today’s gaming. Mind you, the Latitude 7210 is really design as a business laptop.
I’m interested to see how this 2-in-1 laptop will perform during our benchmark tests. Will the Latitude 7210’s portability and sleek looks, hinder its performance in everyday business use and applications? Let’s find out …
