This is PERFECT for our recently built Project Radeonic Phantom Striker and also our previous mini PC build, the Project AMD3D Mini. I wonder what’s the availability of these so called ‘limited white editions’?
Taken from Videocardz … ZOTAC introduces two models, the RTX 3080 Trinity OC White and RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC White. The manufacturer claims that both cards are limited editions, but fails to explain what exactly does that mean. The launch could be limited to certain markets or limited to a number of units.
Whatever the reason for product limitation is, the graphics cards featuring a white cooler design are slowly becoming a standard among many AIBs. This is likely due to the increasing popularity of white components, mainly compute chassis. Such cases offer better light reflections, hence any RGB features that these cards can offer will certainly not go unnoticed. The ZOTAC White series is no exception. Both cards are equipped with ARGB LED controlled through Spectra 2.0 lighting technology.
In terms of specifications, the RTX 3080 Trinity OC White features a 1740 MHz boost clock, which a cosmetic 1.8% increase over reference specifications. The Twin Edge OC White is no different and offers a minimal performance increase of 1.7% with a boost clock of 1755 MHz. There are no changes to the TDP targets of both cards, which are 320W and 220W respectively for RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 models. The latter, however, has upgraded power connectors to dual 8-pins.
