On Friday, MSI announced the release of it Aegis barebones system. With its striking angular design, it is rather a small casing giving thanks to the use a PCI Express riser.
The Aegis’ mini-ITX motherboard uses the B150 chipset, and you can select from 2 CPUs; Core i5-6400 and Core i7-6700. Powered by a 600W PSU, it is powerful enough to power a GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card. With the use of its ‘Silent Storm 2’ fan designs which passes air over the CPU, GPU and PSU, MSI claims that it offers effective and silent cooling.
Wifi and Bluetooth 4.1 comes as standard, along with a DVD-RW drive. Storage space comes in the form of a 2.5″ drive and a 2 3.5″ drives.
The MSI Aegis will be available from the end of April.
