HP V10 RGB 16GB DDR4-3600 CL14 Memory Kit Review

Even though DDR5 has been on the market for a good few months, DDR4 is still much more popular amongst users. There are two reasons why … there’s very little difference in performance between DDR5 and DDR4, and of course the other is DDR4’s much lower price. HP joined the game a bit late with its gaming series RAM, but it seems like it’s one of the more interesting options on the current market. In this review, we will test the V10 RGB series of RAM specified to run at DDR4-3600 and tight timings of CL14-15-15. Every modern motherboard should run at these settings, and it’s optimal for every game. Of course, we won’t stop there, and you can check our overclocking results on the following pages of this review.

I won’t tell you everything right now, so you have to pass the review to find out more about the HP V10 RGB 16GB DDR4-3600 memory kit.

Just got some go v10 rn I’m running 3733 14-14-14-34 at 1.515. Do you think I could do 1.6 daily and overclock some more safely? I’d say they cooling in my system is good with lots of fans and my gpu does not heat soak much

It should work fine at 1.6V, but I’m not sure if it’s worth running it at such a high voltage for barely any performance gain (out of benchmarks). It’s safe if RAM is not overheating, but it won’t give you a much higher frequency. Probably 1 or 2 memory ratios higher. 3733 CL14 is already great for gaming or anything else.
