NVIDIA Releases GeForce Game Ready 517.48 WHQL Driver

NVIDIA has today released GeForce Game Ready 517.48 WHQL driver. The driver brings support for Overwatch 2 which is launching on October 4th, and also Microsoft Flight Simulator DLSS 2 update. In addition, there’s support for new G-Sync compatible displays and GeForce Experience optimal setting profiles.

Game Ready For Overwatch 2 – Free To Play On October 4
It’s time to reunite and stand with your fellow heroes in Overwatch 2, a colorful team-based action game starring a diverse cast of characters, each with their own abilities. Travel the world, build a team, and contest a new range of objectives in new game modes. Overwatch 2 is an entirely new, fresh, free to play multiplayer experience, now designed around 5v5 combat, and it’s launching on October 4th.

At launch, GeForce gamers can increase responsiveness with NVIDIA Reflex. By reducing system latency, NVIDIA Reflex provides faster target acquisition, quicker reaction times, and the best aim precision for competitive games. Fire first, dodge enemy attacks, and get the jump on competitors.

To maximize your competitiveness, up your frame rates with faster graphics cards, and leverage the unparalleled motion clarity of G-SYNC esports gaming monitors. On our new GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards, you can exceed 360 frames per second at 2560×1440, the new competitive sweet spot for performance, clarity, and low latency gaming. In fact, our new GPUs are so fast, Blizzard has increased the frame rate cap in Overwatch 2 to 600 frames per second.

Game Ready For Microsoft Flight Simulator’s DLSS 2 Update
Microsoft Flight Simulator is a stunning, critically-acclaimed flight simulator that marries realistic recreations of popular planes with an accurate map of our planet, and regular free updates add immersive hand-crafted detail to the world’s most visited cities, airports and regions.

Developer Asobo Studio has just launched Sim Update 10, with the integration of NVIDIA DLSS 2. To take full advantage of this technology, our new Game Ready Driver is a required update. So be sure to download and install before you taxi for take-off.
