HP EliteBook 1030 Premium Notebook Launched

HP today introduced a new premium notebook called the HP EliteBook 1030. It has been positioned in between the company’s EliteBook Folio and EliteBook 1040 premium notebooks, and is aimed at customers who want versatility and mobility of a smaller notebook but would rather have one with a larger display. This new notebook is based off of the EliteBook 1020 which has performed very well for HP in the market.

HP EliteBook 1030 has a 12.5 inch CNC-machined aluminum body and has a 13.3 inch screen with an optional Quad HD+ 3200×1800 pixel resolution display. This thin and light notebook has been designed to pass MIL-STD tests even though it weighs just 2.55 lbs and is only 15.7 mm thin.

It’s powered by 6th generation Intel Core M processor that’s up to 20 percent faster than the previous generation, and comes with up to 512GB of SSD storage, up to 16GB of RAM, a 4-cell 40 WHr battery for up to 13 hours of battery life, security and manageability tools, HP Premium Keyboard and ClickPad for Windows 10 gestures as well as audio by Bang & Olufsen.

The company is going to start selling the HP EliteBook 1030 worldwide this month with prices starting at $1,249 and going up depending upon the configuration chosen, prices will also vary depending upon the market.
