It’s the only liquid-cooled RTX 4070 on the market.
Taken from Videocardz … Japanese GDM that the iGame RTX 4070 Neptune OC is now available. This is a high-end SKU based on the most powerful PCB Colorful designed for the RTX 4070 GPU. The iGame Neptune is a factory-overclocked SKU with boost clock up to 2640 MHz (+6.7% OC).
It has a full-custom PCB with 14+3 phase VRM and requires one 16-pin power connector to work. The TDP has been modified from the default 200W to 230W. Whether that’s actually necessary, that’s a different story.
The modifications to the PCB are not what make this RTX 4070 graphics card special, it’s the cooling solution. Out of all 80+ custom models already announced, this is the only liquid-cooled model thus far. It ships with dual-slot cooler attached to an external 240mm radiator with two fans. The card is kept in a silver color scheme and offers some optional RGB lighting.
Design-wise, we might be looking at one of the most advanced RTX 4070 on the market, but this also means it doesn’t come cheap. Officially, the RTX 4070 iGame Neptune costs $829, so $230 (or 38%) more than NVIDIA MSRP. Given the limitations of RTX 4070 overclocking, this might be a very hard card to sell. Gamers might just as well choose any RTX 4070 Ti at this point.
