While visiting the MSI booth we came across two NUCs … The Cubi NUC can support up to Intel Core i7-1365U processors with Intel vPro technology for enhanced security. They also come with dual 2.5G LANs and support for DDR5 SO-DIMM memory.

These tiny minuture PCs can support up to four displays via Thunderbolt 4, and comes with MSI Power Link, which allows the power button of selected MSI monitors to turn on the Cubi NUC.

The MSI Cubi NUC 1MG and MSI Cubi NUC 13MQG are designed with energy efficiency in mind, and uses eco-friendly packaging, as well as post-consumer recycled plastic materials for its construction. Both of these devices won the Computex 2024 Sustainable Tech Award and the Red Dot Award 2024. So well done MSI!

MSI MEG Vision X AI

At this year’s Computex 2024, there were many manuafacturers showcasing their AI PCs. And at the MSI booth, we found one of the most interesting product we’ve seen so far this year. The MSI MEG Vision X AI desktop PC features a massive touchscreen front display, which you can customize to your liking, or use it as a second monitor. It’s perfect for streamers, gamers and content creators.

It’s so “Awesome” … Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger signed his name on the top of the MEG Vision X.

A deep dive in to the MEG Vision X reveals a proprietary AI Engine, which is integrated into the large touchscreen. They call it … Human-Machine Interface (HMI). It uses AI to detect and automatically optimizes the hardware settings based on gamers’ activities, allowing peak performance during gameplay.

Furthermore, utilising private cloud and AI assistant functions, users can take full advatange of the capabilities offered by MSI. These include using the MSI Artist x MSI Chat, which uses AI to generate and produce high-quality images locally, without going on the internet.

Another standout feature of the MEG Vision X AI is the integration of the Microsoft CoPilot voice control function. Users can use simple voice commands like … “Hey Copilot” to wake the system up without having to type in the text. It works directly through the built-in speaker.

The MSI MEG Vision X AI is slated for a Q4 release, and should feature Intel’s latest Arrow Lake Processor, and possibly a Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card.
