Along with their immersive 34-inch curved (1500R) VA panels, 21:9 aspect ratio and 3440 x 1440 WQHD resolution to produce beautiful and bright imagery with high-quality definition, these two models are designed to give professionals of all sectors the quality and specifications they need to reach new levels of productivity. Both monitors feature a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals and an impressive static contrast ratio of 4000:1 for punchy, vivid visuals.

Their outstanding feature are their swift and secure connectivity options, with Thunderbolt 4 (34B2U6603CH) or USB-C (34B2U5600C), which makes working with multiple sources an easier feat and thus improving workflow, productivity, and efficiency.

Built with business and connectivity in mind
The Philips 34B2U6603CH includes a Thunderbolt 4 connection to transfer data at high speeds as well as charge and power external devices via power delivery up to 100W. It supports high-resolution video, offers multi-stream video transport for daisy chaining multiple monitors, and provides a secure and fast connection with its 2.5Gigabit RJ-45 input. The result is increased overall productivity at a rapid pace.

The Philips 34B2U5600C, on the other hand, offers a 1Gigabit RJ-45 connection that provides a swift and secure network connection, a high bandwidth (USB 3.2 Gen 2 10G) USB-C upstream port (video, data, power, 100W), four USB-A (two side-mounted ports for easy access) and one USB-C (data only, 15W) downstream ports. Its USB-C connectivity enables one-cable docking for high-resolution video output from a PC or a notebook to the monitor, plus the ability to power and charge a notebook computer directly from the monitor without requiring any additional cables with a maximum power delivery of 100W.

In addition, the Philips 34B2U6603CH and Philips 34B2U5600C are aimed to ease everyday workflows: the Smart KVM feature (an upgrade from the traditional integrated KVM switch) enables switching between sources with a single click.

A powerful webcam that supports collaboration
Another powerful feature in the Philips 34B2U6603CH’s arsenal is the adjustable pop-up 5MP webcam, which not only offers crystal-clear image quality, but also comes with a Busylight that can sync with Microsoft Teams statuses to notify colleagues of your availability.

Videocalls become even more enjoyable with the noise-cancellation functionalities, the webcam’s auto-framing feature as well as tilt functionality that automatically adjust the frame to properly fit all team members within the webcam view during a meeting. The built-in 2x5W speakers, round off the set-up for more comfortable remote teamwork sessions.

Additional features of the Philips 34B2U6603CH and 34B2U5600C
They both include a height-adjustable stand that tilts, swivels, and is adjustable to fit user preferences, making for the ultimate customisable and comfortable options for the users.

Designed with the environment in mind, these monitors boast a host of green features including a LightSensor and PowerSensor that can lead to up to 80% reduction in energy costs. Moreover, the Philips 34B2U6603CH includes the PowerSensor 2 which reduces energy consumption by detecting when users move closer or further away from the screen, using a TOF (time-of-flight) sensor. When OSD adjustments are made, the monitor and connected PC/laptop will wake from sleep when someone approaches it and will go to sleep mode when someone walks away, effectively reducing the amount of wake time1.

Additionally, the monitor chassis of both models are made using 85% post-consumer recycled plastic and 5% OBP (ocean-bound plastic), to further strengthen the commitment to sustainability.

The Philips 34B2U6603CH and 34B2U5600C monitors will be available for purchase in mid-August at an MSRP of £599.99 and £439.99 respectively.
