Screeneo Innovation SA, brand license partner for Philips projectors, announces the ProPix 860, a versatile professional projector that combines efficient LED technology with exceptional visual performance. While the recently launched ProPix 850 and 650 models showcase Philips’ heritage UHP lamp technology, the ProPix 860 marks an innovative step forward with its LED light source, offering both professional-grade projection and impressive sustainability benefits.
Professional performance with cinematic quality
The ProPix 860 utilises efficient LED technology as its light source to deliver impressive 2600 ANSI lumens of brightness, ensuring vibrant visuals in any setting – from boardroom presentations to movie nights. With Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and a 1500:1 native contrast ratio, every detail comes to life, whether it’s financial data, quarterly reports or the latest blockbuster.
The LED light source of the ProPix 860 is rated for an outstanding 30,000 hours of operation – equivalent to over 10 years of daily use. Beyond eliminating lamp replacement concerns, the LED technology runs significantly cooler than traditional lamps, ensuring a more comfortable viewing environment while consuming 23% less energy than conventional mercury lamps.
True-to-life colours in every scene
The ProPix 860’s sophisticated colour management system achieves an impressive 98% coverage of the Rec.709 (HDTV) colour standard, ensuring the same professional colour accuracy one can expect from high-end displays. The built-in Eco Mode optimises light output while maintaining visual quality, delivering up to 50% energy savings compared to standard settings without compromising the viewing experience.
Versatile integration for every environment
Understanding contemporary needs, the ProPix 860 offers comprehensive connectivity options including dual HDMI ports, USB power output, and RS232 for professional AV control systems. The projector supports screen sizes from 70″ to 150″ diagonal, with a throw ratio of 1.49:1 creating an immersive 120″ display area from just 396 cm. Manual focus adjustment and vertical keystone correction of +/- 40 degrees ensure precise image alignment in any setting.
With a compact form factor (302 x 218 x 99 mm) and weighing only 2.6 kg, the ProPix 860 offers exceptional installation flexibility. The integrated 5-watt speaker with sound chamber provides robust audio capabilities for both presentations and multimedia content.
The Philips ProPix 860 will be available from March 2025 at £799. The ProPix 860 comes with a comprehensive 2-year warranty and professional support.
