Ubisoft has confirmed that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is going to be free to play starting Thursday, February 2nd through Sunday, February 5th onPlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. It has also confirmed that the free weekend will provide players with access to all of the maps, modes, and Operators that are present in the full version of the game.
This will ensure that players get the full Rainbow Six Siege experience over the free weekend. Players should keep in mind that they will require PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold subscriptions to play the game on the respective consoles.
The free weekend has been scheduled prior to the release of Operation Velvet Shell, the first major content update for Rainbow Six Siege. It’s going to be released on February 7th and will bring a new map and two new Operators of the Spanish special forces, namely Grupo Especial de Operaciones.
