During the first day of Computex 2017, ASUS unveiled its first Max-Q laptop called ROG Zephyrus. While the laptop was showcased at the trade show, not many details were revealed by the company. Eventually, ASUS gave up and revealed the notebook’s specifications.
The gaming laptop comes with Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Max-Q, 24 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. There is also a cheaper version with 256 GB of storage and GTX 1070 Max-Q graphics card. The 15.6-inch display comes with 1080p resolution and G-Sync, and reportedly covers 100 percent of the sRGB color gamut.
In terms of connectivity, it has a Thunderbolt 3 Type-C, HDMI 2.0, 3.5mm headset and 4 x USB 3.1 Type-A. The rest of the specs include a 50Wh battery and Sonic Studio II.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus will be available at the end of June in the US and Canada.
