After reporting great second quarter, Xiaomi continues working on one of the best selling lines, the Redmi Note. For 2017, the company is preparing the Redmi Note 5 phablet, which seems to be a mid-range smartphone and not a device to challenge upcoming Galaxy Note 8.
New details suggest the handset will be powered by Snapdragon 630, 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of RAM. It will maintain a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution, while the new MIUI 9 will be available out of the box. The good news is that the price tag is set at $200 for the base model.
