More than 20 million copies of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds have now been sold, creative director Brendan Greene announced on Twitter. All of those sales have occurred just since March 2017, when the game became available on PC through Steam Early Access.
It’s performed better than most other PC titles and it’s reached a higher concurrent player count than any other Steam game. PUBG had a million sales in its first two weeks and it reached 10 million copies sold by September 2017. It’s doubled that sales figure in just three months.
