Joomla can be a pain sometimes. The JCE editor strips away the iFrame code needed for embedding Youtube videos and other web-based coding such Amazon/Google ads. So I did some research and found an alternative way to get around this issue … by using Percha’s iFrame plugin.
I want to share with you all … on how to use this iframe plugin.
Let’s start with a simple Youtube video that you want to embed into your article (example above). Click “Share” and then “Embed”. The full iFrame code will appear in the box above.
Don’t need to copy ALL of the iframe code … we just need the URL as high-lighted in blue.
Next, we create a new article and follow the instructions as below …

I know it’s a little long winded … but this is a solution that works, and the iframe tag/code will stay in the article even after re-editing 😉
I just had to post this (sorry there’s no English translation) … Oh well, it’s all good! We’re actually testing iframes, which means we’ll be able to embed Youtube videos on our website.
