First off, lets have a quick look at each of the generations of the Mi Box.
Lets take a closer look at them all side-by-side.
Notice that for the Mi Box 1, it came with a USB port and micro SD card slot so it was much easier to sideload APKs onto the Mi Box 1. In the 2nd and 3rd generation models, these ports have been removed and instead an ethernet port is present.
