Test rigs
For our tests, we used a total 3 test systems … one is comprised of an ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming X, along with the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Processor, a, while the other is an ASRock X399 Phantom Gaming 6, along with the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X, and finally our main test rig system which is powered by a Ryzen Threadripper 3960X siting on an ASRock TRX40 Taichi motherboard. The system also include a 512B M.2 SSD and 32GB of DDR4-3200 ram in quad channel mode.
All tests were conducted at default clock speeds at a resolution of 1920×1080. High or Ultra settings enabled.

Installation
No issues with installation, however please be careful when mounting the CPU cooler. The heatsink and fan for the mosfets are quite large and fairly high in terms of height. There are 2 x 8-pin power connectors on the ASRock TRX40 Taichi motherboard, but there’s no need to connect up both of them, unless you’re running SLI or Crossfire multi-GPU. I only connected up one of the 1 x 8-pin power connectors and that worked just fine for me.
BIOS
The BIOS on the ASRock TRX40 Taichi was simple to use. You’ll be able to select XMP profiles for the memory. However, I manually selected DDR4-3200 for the memory. All other options were left at default and untouched.
