This year at Computex 2023, ASRock displayed their new Z790 Phantom Gaming NOVA series of motherboards with WiFi 7, and the B650 Taichi Lite. We also took some time to check out some of their latest products that were on display at their booth, including their 8K monitor and Radeon RX 7900 XTX AQUA.
Intel Motherboard
We saw the usual Z790 motherboards from ASRock, but also they showed off their new Phantom Gaming NOVA series with WiFi 7.
AMD motherboards
ASRock also displayed their B650E Taichi Lite motherboard support all the latest AMD Ryzen processors. It’s basically the same as their original B650E Taichi, but with less heatsinks.
VGA cards
ASRock’s flagship Radeon RX 7900 XTX AQUA graphics card was the star of the show. A new BIOS allows improved performance too.
They also showed off their new Steel Legend series of Radeon graphics card.
Monitors
This is also one of the main attractions … the 55″ PG558KF 8K Gaming monitor uses a IPS panel and offers a resolution of 7,680 x 4,320 at 60Hz. It’s VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified, and comes with two DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports.
This side panel is also new … one half of the side panel has a built-in LCD screen. Perfect for gamers, streamers and anyone who wants to display their system health (or Windows).
Mods at ASRock
Here are some of the mods that where displayed at ASRock’s booth at Computex 2023.
Interview with Edwin Chiang
Motherboard Product Manager at ASRock.
We ask ASRock’s Edwin Chiang how to really pronounce “ASRock”. He also explains how having a young team under his management really helps to find out what their customers really want.
Also, we ask the important question whether ASRock will provide support and warranty to their products if users do not follow official guidelines (unlike some other brands which recently got grilled).
And finally, Edwin showcase their latest ASRock Z790 NOVA series motherboard with some new and exciting features.
