CES 2013: CoolerMaster Cases, Coolers & Accessories

Laptop Cooling

CoolerMaster had a wide variety of laptop coolers on display, these are the coolers that caught my eye. There are more beyond this!  We’ll start out with a netbook / ultrabook cooler aimed at comfort.

From this angle, it looks pretty standard. The fan intake is around the sides of the plastic plate.

Here’s the interesting part, it’s a pillow on the bottom!  Very comfy.

On the more tradiational end of things we have the Storm. There’s a flavor with a single big fan, too.

Here’s a side shot … Lots of USB ports! Very nice.

There’s also this unit, which I rather liked. Very open for ventillation, but that’s not the cool part.

The cool part is, the fans are movable. You can line them up with the hotter bits of your laptop for direct cooling. They all have intake screens too, so you won’t chew through your leg, or couch, or whatever.

If you’re after something that allows you to use a mouse, and maybe eat breakfast, CoolerMaster still has you covered!

The center section adjusts easily from a very steep angle to totally flat, with lots of steps inbetween. It can also be very easily removed and rotated 180 degrees if you want the ports and mousing area to be reversed.

Here we have it in use. Model not included, sadly.
