An exclusive event coverage of Adata Technology, showcasing their DDR4 Ram, SSDs and USB devices at Computex 2016, direct from the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall, Taipei. We take a look at the Adata booth at this year’s Computex. Let’s see what they’ve got in store for us in 2016!
Adata
ADATA Technology Co., Ltd. is a Taiwanese memory and storage manufacturer, founded in May 2001 by Simon Chen. Its main product line consists of DRAM modules, USB drives, USB hard drives and memory cards in CompactFlash and Secure Digital formats.
At Computex 2016, Adata a range of XPG DDR4 memory on display, including the XPG Dazzle (with LEDs), XPG Flame (low profile) and XPG Z1 (high performance).
Other interesting products included USB-C external storage devices, as well as some that were waterproof, dustproof and shock resistant. They also had on display, one of the largest capacity I’ve seen to date for a micro SD Card UHS-II (3) at 512GB.
Adata also showcased a system from iBuyPower, which featured a front slot for interchanging SSDs. It’s a pretty neat idea, which means you can change your SSDs without having to open your chassis.
