An exclusive event coverage of BIOSTAR Motherboards and their Racing Series at Computex 2016, direct from the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall, Taipei. We take a look at the Biostar booth at this year’s Computex. Let’s see what they’ve got in store for us in 2016!
BIOSTAR
Biostar Microtech International Corp or commonly known as BIOSTAR, is a motherboard manufacturer based in Taiwan, designing and manufacturing of computer hardware products such as motherboards, video cards and more.
At this year’s Computex, the BIOSTAR booth was all about their “Racing” Series of motherboards. They also had a small VR experience corner using HTC’s Vive VR headset.

BIOSTAR setup 3 systems powered by Intel Core i7 processor with Geforce GTX 1080, all encased in a Thermaltake Core P5 chassis … and this enabled them to show off their “Racing” motherboards with full RGB. I had quick go on the 3D racing game, which they had installed … not bad, not bad at all.

There were plenty of products on display, including some decent overclocking motherboards, as well both mini ITX and industrial motherboards. Also on display was a “Racing” mini PC and their industrial/commercial tablet with interchangeable circuit boards.
