This is day 2 of our coverage of Computex 2019. We’ll be covering Cooler Master, BIOSTAR, Lian-Li, Inno3D, Noctua, Enermax and InWin (above photo is Inwin’s Yong concept chassis).
We’re still on the 4th floor of Hall 1 at the Nangang Exhibition Center with plenty to see. Let’s start off with Cooler Master.
Cooler Master
Cooler Master celebrated their 10th Anniversary of their CASE MOD World Series, and this is the winning trophy. This amazing looking trophy is made from RMA parts (non-working) from Cooler Master.
First off is a new mini-ITX chassis Mastercase H100 and it looks SO cute. I’d love to do a mod with this chassis. Next we have the Silencio S600 which is a ATX midi tower chassis that’s designed with sound proof in mind with lots of sound absorbing materials.
A load of new power supplies including their XG Golde series from 550W to 750W. There’s also the new MWV 230V standard 80Plus bronze series of power supplies.
Now this is interesting, Project Fanless. A completely fanless power supply with a mounting bracket for an optional fan if needed. Mmmm ….
A load of new aRGB cooling fans, the MF120M comes with a static fan hub for silent operation and decent airflow. Next, we have some heatsink and fans including a concept called 3DVVC featuring a U-shaped vapor chamber. For users who wants a low-profile heatsink fan … there’s the G400P and the G200P.
I like this new AIO liquid cooler from Cooler Master. Th MasterLiquid ML240P Dual Mirage has dual water pump and comes with a 240mm radiator. Cooler Master also showcased their DIY watercooling setup which includes the CPU waterblock, pump/reservoir combo, fittings, radiators and translucent hard tubing.
Mini keyboards are becoming a trend. Check this one out from Cooler Master. It comes with their new low-profile Omron switches. They’re available in full size keyboard, tenkeyless and mini size.
And lastly, a light-weight mouse from Cooler Master. The MM710 available in black and white, and comes with a honeycoomb design offering 32,000 dpi and a total weight of only 55g. There’s also Cooler Master’s first ever “wireless” mouse the MM831.
BIOSTAR
BIOSTAR promoted their “racing” series of products, mainly their new X570 motherboards and their SoC gaming solution.
This SoC Arcade gaming solution from BIOSTAR is kind of odd. It sounds like a good idea … but onboard everything might not cope with today’s demanding gaming needs.
Of course, there’s the new X570 motherboard from BIOSTAR. Interestingly, the Racing X570GT8 comes with a diagnostic debug LED and onboard on/off and reset switches.
This mini PC solution from BIOSTAR has a onboard PSU in the form of a slot-in card. Not sure how safe it is with internal wires everywhere … but it seem to work.
They also demo’ed their AI speaker solution that’s linked with Cortana … which seems to work ok. And finally, they demonstrated the speed of USB 3.2 using a M.2 SSD connected to an external USB-C expansion card.
