Gigabyte
As per usual, Gigabyte did not host their booth/suite at the Nangang Exhibition center. Instead, they skipped Taipei 101 this year and moved to the building opposite Nangang Hall 1 – The CTBC.
Although AMD took all the limelight at this year’s Computex with the announcement of their Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000 SPUs) and Navi … This motherboard still grabbed a lot of attention to this day. Announced last year, the C621 Aorus Xtreme is the flagship Intel motherboard from Gigabyte and it’s a beast of a board. More information here.
Other attractions of course, included the X570 motherboard in various different flavors. From the very cute mini-ITX, all the way to the full feature X570 Arous Xtreme with Wifi 6 and full coverage M.2 heatsink.
Nowadays, you’ll find a lot of gaming monitors that are curved. But Gigabyte took it one step further and made it even curvier at 1500R. It offers a full HD at 1080p with 165Hz refresh rate, super fast 1ms response time and a massive 178° viewing angle.
Gigabyte didn’t stop there. They also showcased their Aorus gaming laptops and their new Aero series of laptops. All super thin, comes with Intel 9th CPU and onboard GeForce RTX 20-series or GTX 16-series.
Lastly, we got to see a PCIE expansion card that can take up to 4 x PCIE 4.0 M.2 SSDs with full RAID options. This storage expansion device can give you a read/write speed of more than 15,000 MB/sec! We also got to see Gigabyte’s AIO coolers in 240mm and 280mm versions, as well as some Aorus branded DDR4 ram with RGB of course!
