Computex 2019 – Day 4: Antec, Corsair, EKWB, HyperX, Patriot, Phanteks And EVGA

HyperX

Here we have the result of a collaboration between HyperX and Swarovski. Gaming headsets, keyboard and mouse studded with Swarovski crystals. Now you can have a bit of bling in your gaming … great for streamers!

The HyperX Cloud Orbit S has sensors that can be controlled using the Audeze software with HRTF personalization options. As I move my head, the character on the software also moves … how frigging cool is that!

There were a load of gaming headsets, some keyboards and their Quadcast microphone … which I really like! The Alloy Core RGB is a decent looking keyabord with white key caps and great RGB lighting effects.

Some new DDR4 ram from HyperX. These are the Fury DDR4 RGB are XMP-ready with memory speeds of up to 3466MHz and a low latency of CL15–19.

Patriot

Patriot showcased their new M.2 SSD with RGB, which I really like, and their P200 large capacity SSD of 2 TB.

Patriot also showcased their new prototype product and it’s their first ever PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 SDD! It uses Phison’s PS5016-E16 controller and we should see speeds hitting northward of 5000 Mb/sec.

Other Viper products include their new V380 gaming headset, V551 gaming mouse and the Viper v765 RGB gaming keyboard.

And finally, the EVLVR external SSD with Thunderbolt™ 3 on a USB Type-C connection offering speeds of up to 1600MB/s read and 1000MB/s write. It’s up to 8 times faster than USB 3.0 and it’s compatible with PCs and Macs.
