At the HKEF 2016, there were a lot of IoT products. If you don’t know what IoT is … well, it’s simply the “Internet of Thing”. We take a look at KlikR …
KlikR – Universal Remote
With KlikR, you can literally control everything that’s operated via infra-red on your smartphone. I like the idea, and I do like the App which the gentleman kindly demonstrated in the video.

“Klikr is a small IoT product that can be stuck onto or right next to any infrared remote controlled electronic product, making it almost instantly controllable from your Android or iPhone.
Klikr is meant for all users who love their smart phone and the great user experience that it provides, in feel, colors and friendliness. We use our phone everywhere, including on the couch at home watching TV or listening to music. “

WTF?! Smart Sticker
This isn’t an IoT product, but still it caught our attention. It’s a smart sticker from WTF?! I guess it’s a marketing gimmick, but nevertheless it’s pretty interesting.

The WTF Smart sticker is basically a reusable piece of soft plastic with a pretty strong adhesive surface at both ends. This allows you to stick any mobile device or any object for that matter to any surface such as a wall, glass, car interior etc.
I can see the potential of these smart stickers … it’s perfect for customization and brand awareness.
