The APEX build came about after being approached by several hardware manufacturers to do a build that could be displayed with Gigabyte/Aorus for CES 2017. I was given full creative freedom but, I had less than a month from concept to finished product. A lot of neat features were built into APEX, including a 2-way acrylic PSU Window. When the PSU gets to a specific temperature the backlit leds turn on. This makes it so the window changes from reflective to see through which exposes all the inner workings of the power supply. Every single piece of custom work/modding was done in house and by hand. There’s a lot of detail work because I’m a big believer in the details making the difference between a good build and an epic one.
