Samsung Electronics H.K. Company, Limited today announced the launch of the new smartwatch Galaxy Fit3, featuring slim and stylish design with 1.6-inch display screen. The smartwatch supports multiple sports and health management functions, allowing users to easily manage their conditions and establish healthy living habits. It also allows seamless connection with Galaxy smartphones to provide more intuitive and smoother user experience.

Comfortable and Durable Design to Meet Various Scenarios in Daily Life
The Galaxy Fit3 is designed to facilitate users’ daily usage. The 1.6-inch full-color display screen[1] with resolution of 256 x 402 enables sharp and clear visibility. With the thickness of only 9.9mm[2] and weight of just 18.5g[3], it provides all-day comfort for the on-hand experience. Its fashionable strap colors, combined with various unique watch faces[4], allow users to always show their distinctive personalities. The aluminum watch body also provides more durability than ever before. Additionally, it is 5ATM and IP68 certified[5], enabling users to train and exercise without worries, and to unleash their vitality.
As an all-rounded sports and health assistant, the Galaxy Fit3 supports up to 13-day of battery life[6]. Let it be exercising during daytime, or sleep monitoring at night, the Galaxy Fit3 can easily address all needs.
Support Multiple Exercise Modes and Personal Health Management Features[7]
The Galaxy Fit3 supports over 100 exercise modes[8]. Users can simply double tap the home button to access the exercise list, then select the corresponding exercise mode and start their workout. The system automatically records various exercise data, allowing users to check their exercise status at any time. The Galaxy Fit3 also supports exercise auto detection feature for 6 types of exercise by simply detecting users’ movements, including walking, running, rowing machine, swimming etc[9]. It brings extra convenience for users to start exercising and track information such as duration, heart rate and calories burned[10]. Through the Samsung Health app, users can manage and review their past exercise records, in order to adjust their training schedules and goals to improve the effectiveness.
Users’ personal health is also the focus of Galaxy Fit3. It supports daily basic monitoring and provides data including steps, daily activity, and calories burned etc. When users achieve their set goals, messages will be sent out for motivation. Through the Samsung Health app, the Galaxy Fit3 can help users to monitor their heart rate and stress level[11]. When users are stressed, they will be reminded to take a deep breath and relax. Besides, the Galaxy Fit3 supports blood oxygen tracking feature, allowing users to stay aware of their body conditions.
In terms of sleeping quality management[12], the Galaxy Fit3 collects users’ blood oxygen levels[13] during sleep and detect snoring[14] to identify their sleep habits and provide sleep score, enabling users to understand their sleeping patterns and make adjustments accordingly. Users can also identify their sleep types and obtain sleeping advises via the coaching[15] mission feature in the Samsung Health app.
Seamless Connection with Galaxy Smartphones for Greater Functionality
Users can enjoy numerous seamless features by connecting the Galaxy Fit3 to a compatible Galaxy smartphone. In addition to real-time automatic synchronization on both devices for the “Sleep” and “Do Not Disturb” modes[16], it can serve as a remote shutter to access and control the smartphone’s camera and control music on mobile app[17]. Users can also use their Galaxy Fit3 to find their Galaxy smartphone, or via SmartThings Find app on Galaxy smartphone to locate their Galaxy Fit3[18]. The Galaxy Fit3 will vibrate and emit sounds to alert users of its location.
Through the Fall Detection feature on the Galaxy Fit3, users can set to activate the feature based on personal needs as “Always”, “During Activity”, or “During Exercise”. Once there is accident, users can make simple SOS emergency call by pressing the home button for 5 times[19]. Medical information synched from phone will also be sent to ensure the users can receive prompt assistance.
