Steelseries SRW-S1 Racing Wheel Review

Game Testing

Dirt 2

There are times when tuning the settings of a controller makes a game-chaning difference and in Dirt 2 that was one of those times. After spending a couple of hours fine-tuning my settings I felt like I had much greater control of the cars than I did while simply using stock settings. If you choose to use the stock settings be prepared for an understeering experience like no other.

Dirt 3

Just like Dirt 2, this game requires alot of fine tuning to get things feeling correct. But once I did so everything was running great. Controls were crisp and very responsive. The lack of force feedback is a bit of a let down though.

Need for Speed: Shift

Unlike the other two games, NFS:Shift just never felt right now matter how much I tried different settings everything never flowed correctly. Controls were clunky and never fluid, I never had any issues using a Playstation 3 controller in the game so I am not sure what the problem is.
