Facebook Messenger users can now access their Dropbox contents and share them via the Messenger’s extension menu. You can now share your photos, videos and other files stored in your Dropbox account to whoever you are chatting with on Messenger. When you send a video or image, Messenger will preview it inline, any other types of files and you’ll have to pop over to the Dropbox app itself. This new integration will now be available to both Android and iOS app users.
Following on from Spotify’s integration with Facebook Messenger, so you can share your songs and playlists, and Lyft, allowing you to hail cars from within Messenger in the US, Dropbox’s integration was a logical step as users are frequently sharing files with one another.
