Wow. I have known for some time that the newer Metal Gear games were making their way to the PC for a little while now, but anytime there is an official announcement; my excitement increases tenfold! KONAMI has officially set the date in which the prologue episode Metal Gear: Ground Zeroes will storm the Steam platform and take PC gaming by storm. I really need to get a 4K Display soon.
PC gamers: Snake kept you waiting, huh? We are delighted to announce that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be available on Steam on December 18th! Prologue to The Phantom Pain, the PC version of Ground Zeroes will feature enhancements thanks to its new platform of release.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be 4K compatible and feature an increase in the number of simultaneous light sources, the number of models that can be displayed on-screen and increased shadow resolution. The Déjà-Vu and Jamais-Vu missions will also be included in the game, Déjà-Vu; homage to the PS One title Metal Gear Solid lets you control Solid Snake and recreate famous scenes from the 1998 game, while Jamais-Vu features the powerful Raiden investigating an alien invasion on the Omega Base.
With Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain being the next MGS title and the most ambitious, playing Ground Zeroes will let the fans experience the thrill of an open-world Metal Gear Solid game and all the possibilities offered by its unique gameplay; a great place for PC gamers to start their Metal Gear Solid V Experience.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on PC is just the beginning, stay tuned to our channels for more regarding The Phantom Pain and what promises to be the most exciting MGS game ever!
