ASUS Announces 2023 Vivobook Classic Series Powered by 13th Gen Intel Core Processors

ASUS today announced five new models in the 2023 Vivobook Classic series of laptops, headed up by the flagship 14-inch Vivobook 14X OLED (K3405) and 16-inch Vivobook 16X OLED (K3605) models.

In keeping with their role as flagships of the series, these powerful laptops feature up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 4060 GPU, accompanied by up to 13th Gen Intel Core H-series processors and up to 32 GB of RAM. The feature-packed K3405 and K3605 really do deliver maximum performance at the best price.

Vivobook 14X OLED and 16X OLED (K3605) feature up to world-leading 3.2K 120 Hz OLED HDR Pantone® Validated displays. A powerful Dirac-tuned audio system and an HD webcam with ASUS 3D Noise Reduction (3DNR) ensure immersive entertainment and crystal-clear video conferencing. High-performance WiFi 6E (802.11ax) and a long-lasting battery with fast-charge capabilities free users to take full advantage of their mobile lifestyle.

On-the-go connectivity is easy with a set of I/O ports including up to Thunderbolt™ 4, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C® and/or Type-A and HDMI® 2.1, plus a standard SD card reader.

Designed to last, the new Vivobook models are tested with world’s most stringent MIL-STD-810H durability test regime. They also incorporate 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics and 100% recyclable packaging, and meet EPEAT Silver and ENERGY STAR® standards, reflecting the ASUS commitment to producing sustainable products with a reduced environmental impact.

These youthfully themed laptops feature the classic Vivobook raised logo lid tab, and the iconic warning-striped Enter key for a distinctive look. Users can choose from two timeless finishes: Indie Black or Cool Silver — whichever one they choose it will always look fresh.

Additionally, other new models announced today in the 2023 Vivobook Classic series will suit a wide range of user needs, including the 15-inch Vivobook 15X OLED (K3504) with up to a 2.8K 120 Hz OLED display; the 16-inch Vivobook 16X OLED (K3604) with up to a 4K OLED display; and the top-performing 17-inch Vivobook 17X (K3704) with up to an Intel Core i9-13900H processor.

Fueled to perform
Offering a broad range of display sizes and performance options, the new 2023 range is headed up by the top-of-the-line Vivobook 14X OLED (K3405) and 16X OLED (K3605). These are equipped with up to a high-end 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU — offering advanced features like ray tracing, AI acceleration and speedy GDDR6 memory, and supplied with NVIDIA Studio drivers — to deliver a combined peak thermal design power (TDP) of up to 70 watts, so they are primed to make light work of everyday tasks, multitasking productivity and casual creative work. Additionally, Vivobook 16X OLED (K3605) features a MUX Switch that allows users to choose between maximum graphics performance or improved battery life at any time. For storage, all models feature ultrafast up to 1 TB PCIe® SSDs.

Keeping all the laptops cool is an efficient vented cooling system featuring multiple up to 8 mm heat pipes and an IceBlade fan that efficiently accelerate heat transfer for stable, drama-free performance.

The new Vivobook OLED models provide a stunning visual experience with incredible detail and ultravivid colors from their world-leading HDR panels, with up to a 4K resolution on Vivobook 16X OLED (K3604). Vivobook 15X OLED (K3504) and Vivobook 16X OLED (K3605) also offer OLED displays with ultrafast 120 Hz refresh rates for super-smooth motion visuals, or 90 Hz in the case of Vivobook 14X OLED (K3405). The OLED displays are Pantone Validated for professional-grade color fidelity, and their 100% DCI-P3 color gamut provides cinema-grade colors. All displays are TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue-light emissions and flicker-free operation to ensure less eye strain during long viewing sessions.

Users can take back control of their meetings with our innovative AI-enhanced HD camera system — featuring ASUS 3DNR technology for clearer video in any environment — and ASUS AI noise-canceling audio technology, which features new algorithms to make conference calls even more productive.

For immersive entertainment, all models feature a powerful ASUS SonicMaster audio system — tuned in cooperation with the audio expertise of Dirac — that delivers the most immersive, clear, and balanced sound experience ever, with immersive sound that pulls the listener in and lets them feel every nuance and every effect, in any situation. Additionally, ASUS Audio Booster uses unique audio algorithms to boost audio volume by up to 1.5x and take the audio experience to the next level.

To make sure that users can enjoy extended periods working away from power outlets, all thew new Vivobook models are fitted with a long-lasting high-capacity up to 70 Wh battery, with fast-charge capabilities that makes it easy to top up quickly.

Users will always find it easy to hook up all their peripherals and devices to the new Vivobook range, with all models offering advanced connectivity including up to a Thunderbolt™ 4 USB-C port with support for 40Gbps data transfers, Power Deliver and DisplayPort™; two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports; an HDMI port for up to a 4K 60 Hz external display; and on Vivobook 16X OLED (K3605), a standard SD card reader.
