The sleek and compact contemporary unibody design — crafted from premium magnesium-aluminum alloy and finished in a choice of four fresh new colors — is just 2.43lb light and 14.9 mm thin for effortless portability. With the increase in popularity of remote working and video conferencing, Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED implements ASUS AI Noise-Cancelation Technology and a four-microphone directional array to ensure the best experience. This employs machine learning in order to isolate unwanted noise from human speech. The ClearVoice Mic feature in the MyASUS app can filter out ambient noise, and normalize all individual voices in Multi-presenter mode from different positions for optimum group conference-call quality. The ClearVoice Speaker feature filters out all ambient noise apart from human speech — so users can hear what everyone else is saying.

The infrared camera with ASUS 3D Noise Reduction (3DNR) uses Windows Hello to enable new AI-powered presence-detection features. For example, as well as fast face login, if the user moves away from the laptop it locks it for security and dims the screen to save battery life. When the user returns, it detects their face, logs them in and brightens the screen. Users can also log in quickly with just a single touch via the fingerprint sensor built into the power button.
