Bang & Olufsen Announces its Next Generation Wireless Earbuds, the Beoplay Eleven

Today, Bang & Olufsen announced the Beoplay Eleven wireless earbuds, an evolution of the Danish audio brand’s successful Beoplay EX earphones boasting improved acoustic performance thanks to enhanced Active Noise Cancellation, transparency and voice clarity.

“Beoplay EX revolutionised our wireless earphone category with its superior sound and cutting-edge design. With the new Beoplay Eleven, Bang & Olufsen has elevated its ambitions once again,” says Francesco Tonon, VP of Product Management. “The new Beoplay Eleven delivers even better sound quality thanks to transformative ANC and Transparency that embodies our innovation capabilities, and we cannot wait to bring them to our customers,” he continues.

Improved Performance
For Beoplay Eleven, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) function provides double the noise reduction at low frequencies and improved optimisation across different ear shapes and sizes, creating the best ANC technology in an earbud to date.

The earbuds feature six updated microphones that work faster and more efficiently, with significantly lower hiss noise levels to provide a luxurious experience with a clearer, louder and more natural Transparency mode.

For the external microphones, Bang & Olufsen has integrated additional holes in the stem with a fine mesh padding to give a more open sound and help relieve wind pressure. Wind noise is filtered out more effectively when the Wind Guard feature is activated in the B&O app so that users can remain aware of their surroundings such as traffic or alarms.

Beoplay Eleven also features connectivity improvements thanks to Multipoint and voice call performance also benefits from the addition of new microphones. Pairing these hardware updates with a new voice solution in software offers superior clarity and precision under all conditions, allowing Bang & Olufsen to deliver the best voice call performance in any of its earbuds to date.

Design is in the details
For the design of Beoplay Eleven, Bang & Olufsen took inspiration from its luxurious Beoplay H100 headphones, utilsing high quality materials and colours inspired by fine jewellery to create a timeless design. Available in two new colourways, Natural Aluminium references Bang & Olufsen’s classic design aesthetic where the deep black contrasts against the natural toned aluminium. The warm Copper Tone aluminium pops against neutral grey.

Beoplay Eleven features Bang & Olufsen’s signature material of polished aluminium combined with a glass touch interface and mirror-like finish, housed within a pearl blasted aluminium charging case that is both light and durable.

The soft in-ear piece, made of premium silicone moulds to any ear shape for a stable and comfortable fit. The stem-based architecture allows for optimal microphone placement and efficient reduction of background noise. Beoplay Eleven also has an IP57 rated build so that it can be used come rain or shine.

The design of the earbuds allows for battery replacement by service to align with the European’s sustainability goals of requiring replaceable batteries from February 2027, providing consumers with a longer-lasting product.

Beoplay Eleven Natural Aluminium (499 EUR) is available from 26th November at Bang & Olufsen stores and www.bang-olufsen.com.
