BenQ Launches New X Series Immersive Gaming Projectors

BenQ, the global leading DLP 4K projector brand and innovator of digital lifestyle devices, today launched three all-new 4K HDR smart projectors for AAA console gaming, each optimised to immerse players in unprecedented levels of in-game audiovisual details in different rooms at home.

Dropping hot on the heels of BenQ X3000i, 2022’s hottest gaming projector, the new X3100i, X500i, and X300G debut BenQ’s game-changing detail refinement engine, combining projector-optimized HDR-PRO, CinematicColor, and CinematicSound technologies. These latest enhancements are set to deliver unparalleled gaming experiences with greater sensory detail than previously possible.

Conway Lee, President of BenQ Corporation said: “Our new X Series gaming projectors revolutionise the large-screen gaming market with genuine 4K HDR audiovisual performance and low input lag as the ultimate perceptivity platform for AAA gaming in various settings.

“The flagship X3100i creates ultimate dream game rooms without compromise; X500i transforms any small room into a gaming zone; and X300G portable gaming projector lets gamers build gaming centres in any nook or corner.”

At the heart of the X Series is BenQ’s novel in-game detail refinement technology, which delivers fully immersive gaming experiences teeming with freshly revealed details and realism. True 4K HDR ultra high resolution with 8.3 million distinct pixels complement proprietary projector-optimized HDR-PRO technology. All models in the X Series utilise SSI Dynamic Black and HDR tone mapping techniques to produce vibrant contrast and lifelike shadows, revealing intricate details even in dim settings. The theatre-grade BenQ CinematicColor technology leverages 4LED high brightness and colour volume for spectacular colour rendition with super-wide colour gamut coverage of subtle hues up to 100% DCI-P3.

BenQ CinematicSound surrounds X Series gamers, providing them with sound precision for perfect gaming immersion. The BenQ CinematicSound offers gamers a complete experience with directional sound from innovative symmetrical treVolo driver placement design and dedicated signal processing circuitry. This creates a virtual 3D spatial audio environment full of intricate, lifelike sound effects as well as full, rich lows and mids for spellbinding in-game atmosphere. Delivered without delay via the world’s lowest input lag as fast as 4.16ms, X Series visuals and audio empower gamers to perceive and react instantaneously for flawless victories.

Perfectly tailored for any gaming system, X Series gaming projectors offer ultimate customization with role-playing, shooter, sports and racing game modes. Auto Game Mode can also be deployed to detect and optimize input lag and audiovisual settings for each console. Gamers can also choose to adopt SettingXChange for on-the-fly switching of preset colour settings for specific gaming titles, and a handy built-in FPS crosshair for precise targeting.

The latest BenQ X Series gaming projectors also come with Google-certified Android TV and built-in Netflix, opening the world of endless entertainment including streaming apps, movies, shows, sporting events, and even more games, with eARC and S/PDIF support for transmitting full-resolution original audio to an external sound system.

Skinned with futuristic style to embody the essence of gaming, X Series gaming projectors are purpose-designed for easy, flexible installation with the right throw ratios, lens shift or 2D keystone, and digital zoom to create the ultimate dream gaming paradise, transform a small game room, or build a spontaneous gaming nook anywhere.
