EK, the leading computer cooling solutions provider, is expanding its soft tubing portfolio by releasing a new tubing option from the EK Pro line. The new EK-Pro Tubing Reinforced EPDM, as the product name suggests, are soft water-cooling tubes made from reinforced EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber).
EK-Pro Tubing Reinforced EPDM
This durable matte black tubing is designed to withstand harsh conditions for very long periods of time. It offers a truly exceptional lifespan as it can resist UV, ozone, and heat exposure for many years, while its thick rubber walls prevent the coolant from evaporating.
EK offers two tubing dimensions, both of which can be purchased “per meter” to match your needs and desires:
- EK-Pro Tubing Reinforced EPDM – 6/12mm
- EK-Pro Tubing Reinforced EPDM – 10/17mm
This tubing can be used at ambient temperatures of up to +80°C (+176°F) and with coolant temperatures of up to +100°C (+212°F). It is perfect for applications that require maximum flexibility and high abrasion resistance.
EK-Pro Tubing Reinforced EPDM is validated with MegaCrimp® (-40 to 20) and GlobalSpiral™ Plus (-24). Unlike most PVC and PUR tubing, this high-quality EPDM rubber tubing from EK ensures long-lasting operation and doesn’t suffer from a plasticizer leaching effect that can cause blockage (gunking) in your liquid cooling loop. It is guaranteed to be hassle-free even in the long run, which is something other PVC or PUR tubings cannot offer.

The EK-Pro Tubing Reinforced EPDM tubing is manufactured in Slovenia, Europe, and is available for pre-order through the EK Webshop. The product is expected to ship out in late April 2023. The table below shows the manufacturer-suggested retail price (MSRP), VAT included.
