Segways and Segway clones are nothing new, but at this year’s HKEF 2016, one manufacturer caught our eye. It’s a Segway from Eswing that’s designed for off-road use. The ESWING Smart Scooter… Cool! Other models included the Mini Q1 designed for kids and adults alike. The Funky Kit team gets to try the Mini Q1.

Off-road: Conquer Model
The Off-Road Conquer is designed specifically for the outdoors. It’s rugged, weatherproof and can be used on literally any service. This particular model comes with a pair of massive 19″ alloys (Aluminum), has a top speed of 16 km/h and a max range of 25 km.
You don’t need to balance yourself on this Segway … you stand on it and then use the handle bar to navigate and to assist your balance. It even has a waterproof torch (headlight) for night driving/riding.
What’s more, it has a built in RFID and GPS system, and you can also download an App for full connectivity via bluetooth to your smartphone.

Mini Q1 Model
The Mini Q1 is Eswing’s newest edition to their catalog. It’s designed to kids and has a top speed of 12 km/h and a max range of 18 km.
It’s much lighter and smaller than the off-road version, weighing only 18.5kg and measuring 46.5×38.5x26cm. It’s compact enough to put in the boot of your car, and it’s a great addition to have, especially on a day out with the family.
Again, there’s also an App which you can download to monitor the unit and offers full connectivity via bluetooth to your smartphone.
