It isn’t a secret that LG is planning to release its very own SteamVR headset and it looks like the company might launch it soon. According to folks that attended the Korean VR Festival, the LG showcased the SteamVR headset and two motion controllers.
The official launch date has yet to be set, but we will likely have to wait until 2018. The headset follows SteamVR tracking technologies and features a “flip up” display at the front. It has separate OLED displays for each eye with a resolution of 1,440 x 1,280, a 110-degree field of vision and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
