Wow, I didn’t know how powerful the Raspberry Pi 3 is, until now. It’s good enough to run Microsoft’s digital assistant … Cortana.
Microsoft’s Cortana digital assistant is now accessible from the single-board Raspberry Pi 3 computer. Cortana has reached the computer with the Windows 1 Creators Update. You’ll have access to the assistant once your system is running Windows 10 IoT Core and the update.
This software upgrade means the Raspberry Pi 3 can form the basis of inexpensive devices that include voice assistant support.
You’ll only be able to use Cortana once you’ve attached a microphone and speakers to your computer. Only a limited set of components will work with the hardware and software.
